About this plumbing referral service
Craigieburn Plumbers is a referral website run by Yes Right Pty Ltd. How enquiries are passed on, who is responsible for the work and how to check a plumber.
Yes Right Pty Ltd, ABN 91 664 546 061, operates Craigieburn Plumbers so people can lodge a plumbing enquiry and have it referred on. Owners and renters in Craigieburn and the neighbouring Hume suburbs can describe a drain, hot water, gas, leak or toilet problem once, and the details go to an independent plumbing business that works in the area.
Yes Right is not a plumber. It has no plumbers on staff, holds no plumbing licence, does no plumbing or gas work and cannot issue a compliance certificate. There is no Craigieburn office or depot behind this site, and it carries no customer reviews or list of past jobs. Each photo illustrates the plumbing a page covers, such as a drain or a hot water unit, and none was taken on a job this site arranged.
From your enquiry to a quote
- Use the quote request form to give your name, how to reach you, your suburb and what is wrong with the plumbing.
- Those details go to an independent plumbing provider who might be able to help, so they can reply to your enquiry. How the information is handled is set out in the privacy notice.
- The provider chooses whether to take the job on. They may ring with questions, ask for photos, or want to look at the site before pricing it.
- Any agreement you then make is between you and that provider.
Submitting the form does not lock in an appointment. A provider may not be free for every job, every suburb or every deadline. The form is also no use in an emergency: for a gas leak or anyone in danger, move people clear and ring 000.
The plumber carries the job
Once you pick a provider, the job is theirs from start to finish:
- pricing the work and stating what is in and out of scope
- the deposit and how you pay
- the booking and turning up when agreed
- workmanship and the fittings and materials used
- meeting Victorian plumbing law, which includes a compliance certificate where the work calls for one
- holding the insurance a licensed plumber needs for certificated work
- warranty on their labour and on the products they supply
Get the quote on paper with the parts and possible extras spelled out. The Craigieburn plumbing cost guide has a checklist for reading a quote and the warning signs to look for.
Checking a Victorian plumber or gasfitter
The Building and Plumbing Commission (BPC) has registered and licensed Victoria’s plumbers and gasfitters since 1 July 2025, when it replaced the former Victorian Building Authority. Each person holds registration or a licence class by class, such as drainage, sanitary, water supply and gasfitting, and some jobs also need a specialised class.
For a job at your place:
- Search for the plumber’s name or registration number using the BPC tool called Find and check a practitioner, and confirm the registration or licence is current.
- Match the class to the work. A blocked sewer line under the yard needs drainage, a cooktop or gas pipe needs gasfitting, and a heater service or rental gas safety check needs the Type A appliance servicing endorsement.
- The BPC requires plumbers to carry their practitioner identity card at work and produce it when asked. The classes are printed on the back.
- From that search page you can also open the BPC compliance and enforcement register to see whether any disciplinary or prosecution action has been published against the plumber.
- Only a licensed plumber can sign a compliance certificate. If your job needs one, make sure the person signing holds a licence and not only a registration.
The name painted on a ute or printed on a quote belongs to a business, not a licence holder. Check the person who will do or supervise the work.
Plumbing jobs you can send
Household plumbing around Craigieburn is welcome: blocked drains, hot water repairs and replacement, burst pipes and leak detection, gas fitting and toilet and tap repairs. Local housing and water authority details are on the Craigieburn suburb guide and the pages for the suburbs next door.
A heat pump that needs its own power circuit also needs a licensed electrician for that part, because electrical work is not plumbing. Renovations and new builds bring in other trades and permits that a plumbing enquiry does not cover.
Asking about an enquiry or your details
If you have a question about an enquiry you sent, or about how your personal information is used, reply to the message you received about it. The privacy notice explains how to ask for your details to be removed.
